【Meta / Muse Wonder · Muse Wonder Full】（Status: Released）

What happened: Alexandr Wang introduced Muse Wonder as Meta's largest and most capable model yet, built for personal and professional agents. Muse Wonder is live on the Meta Model API and Muse Code ($4 input, $0.20 cached, $20 output per 1M tokens; 1M context); Full is only for Muse Code subscribers, with no per-token price yet. Artificial Analysis measured Intelligence Index 52 for Wonder and 56 for Full; on its Coding Agents Index Full scores 68 (level with Claude Code + Sonnet 5.5) and Wonder 63; Wonder costs about $4.52 per index task. Arena added Muse Wonder to Agent Arena and Code Arena. Wang later said the team is fixing launch issues as fast as it can.
Why it matters: Meta is back near the frontier tier, though its API pricing is on the high side.

【OpenAI / Codex】28-day day 8: Reset（Status: Released）

What happened: Tibo posted “Day 8/ Reset” and added in the same thread that the global reset lands by end of day PST. He later posted “What would you like with your side of reset? It's done,” confirming this global reset completed. A day earlier, users had complained that Day 7 only changed the default context instead of the reset they wanted.
Why it matters: It answers the reset request users raised most often during the 28-day sprint — and closes the loop.

【Alibaba / QwenGyre】Elastic RL for long-horizon agents（Status: Released, paper）

What happened: Its Elastic Scheduler shifts GPUs between rollout and training without interrupting live runs, up to 1.85× faster than Colocate and 1.78× faster than Async; its Trajectory Processor turns branching runs (compaction, sub-agents, retries) into prefix-shared trajectory trees, and partial progress after a timeout still gets scored. At Qwen3.8-2.4T-A95B scale with ~700K tokens per rollout, it lifted NL2RepoBench from 52.5% to 58.5% in 48 steps, with ~44% less end-to-end training time than Async.
Why it matters: Training efficiency for hours-long agent tasks is one of the bottlenecks for the next generation of coding agents.

3. Official Company Strategy & Events

【OpenAI / Codex·ChatGPT】More-usage plan (teaser)（Official person; details not published）

What happened: Tibo posted “Good plans are simple. I have one that should result in significantly more usage for everyone. Hope to get it done soon,” with no tiers, surfaces, or timeline.
Why it matters: Right after Day 8 Reset, it signals quota/usage is still a focus of the 28-day sprint.
Source: 𝕏x.com/thsottiaux/status/2109892247580000595

【OpenAI / ChatGPT Pro quota poll】（Official person’s personal take）

What happened: Tibo cited his prior-day Pro-user poll as surprising — he expected a clear lean toward “2× quota across Pro 100/200/500 in exchange for restoring the 5-hour limit” to smooth demand.
Why it matters: Shows Codex / ChatGPT still listening on quota vs rate-limit tradeoffs; no shipping commitment yet.

【SpaceX / The X Subscription】Grok, Cursor and X Premium in one plan（Status: Released, rolling out gradually）

What happened: SpaceXSI unified the Grok, Cursor and X Premium plans: code in Cursor, get work done with Bot, chat and create with Grok, plus X Premium features. There are five tiers from Free to Ultra, each said to give more usage-per-dollar of its own models than the plan it replaces. Current subscribers can keep their plan or switch, and link their accounts.
Why it matters: It bundles an IDE, an agent, chat and a social membership into one subscription, and changes how third-party model usage is billed (see Baoyu's breakdown in section 5).

【Best Partner / Muse trust boundaries】

Opinion: Three trust layers — privacy Secure VM, judgment/alignment, regulatory spectrum; also Hugging Face isolation-break cases. Download figures in the blurb conflict with prior numbers; treat as show claims only.
Source: YouTubeyoutube.com/watch?v=Icd5Z1tubk8

【Artificial Analysis / FrontierCode 1.1 leaderboard】

Opinion: Cognition's private coding eval requires changes that real open-source maintainers would merge; AA runs the 100-task Main set with its Stirrup reference harness. Claude Opus 5.5 (max with fallback) leads at 52% and $10.15 per task; GPT-6.1 Sol (max) scores 49% at $0.81 per task, matching Claude Fable 5.1; MiMo-V2.6-Pro tops open weights at 45% and $0.18, with DeepSeek V4.1 Flash and Kimi K3 at 44%; GPT-6 Luna scores 42% at $0.09. Leading models still fail more than 40% of the time.

【Artificial Analysis / AA-3D】

Opinion: A new benchmark where models, as agents in an offline sandbox, build interactive three.js 3D scenes from written briefs; 1,000+ panelists cast 10,000+ blind votes ranking 21 models. Claude Sonnet 5.5 (1194), Claude Opus 5.5 (1190), GPT-6 Astra (1165) and Claude Fable 5.1 (1131) are statistically tied at the top; the best open-weights models, Kimi K3 (982) and MiMo-V2.6-Pro (977), rank 11th and 12th. A scene costs $0.20 to $32.08; the cheapest, GPT-6 Luna (Elo 1000), ranks eighth.

【Arena / Agent Arena】

Opinion: Agent Arena measures Confirmed Success, meaning users confirm the result met their needs. On July 1 Claude Fable 5 led by far, yet the top-20 average matched it within 12 weeks; Kimi K3 beat it within 3 weeks at 89% lower cost per task, and DeepSeek V4.1 Flash matches it at 96% lower cost. The top 5 now get 94% of tasks confirmed done, up from 80% in July, led by Claude Opus 5.5, Claude Fable 5.1 and GPT-6.1 Sol.

【Baoyu (@dotey) / Should existing users switch to The X Subscription】

Opinion: Existing Cursor subscriptions won't be force-migrated. The new plans include no allowance for third-party models such as Claude, GPT or Gemini, which are billed separately at API prices; people who mostly code with Claude or GPT are better off staying, while people who mostly use Grok or already pay for X Premium get more by switching. The five tiers are Free, Plus $8, Premium $30, Super $100 and Ultra $200, with weekly refreshing usage; Premium and up include Grok Bot. The company hasn't said how long old plans last or whether you can switch back.

【Ethan Mollick】

Opinion: From early access, Muse Wonder seems like a good model, with fast progress since his April shader test; he also warns people take the AA Index and its individual scores far too seriously. Separately, his Dot reproduced a subscription bug on its own, without being asked, and found the cause.

6. Unconfirmed Rumors & Leaks

【Google / Gemini 4 Argon】Allegedly arriving today for AI Ultra subscribers（Not officially confirmed）

What happened: Logan Kilpatrick posted the single word “Gemini” (Josh Woodward retweeted). TestingCatalog says it is “officially confirmed” that Gemini 4 Argon arrives today for Google AI Ultra subscribers, and its daily adds that Antigravity CLI 1.3.4 lists Argon low/medium/high plus a Gempix 3 Pro (aka Nano Banana 3 Pro) build on Argon. Logan separately replied “excited to see how Gemini 4 Argon does” under DeepRSI, but did not name an Ultra ship day.
Why it matters: If true, Argon moves from Fair Wind / limited access toward paid subscribers; the public posts do not by themselves confirm “official today.”

【Anthropic / Claude Opus 5.5 routed to a stronger unannounced model】（Not officially confirmed）

What happened: TestingCatalog says some users report Opus 5.5 requests landing on a stronger unannounced model; candidates include Claude Fable 5.5 or Opus 5.6, still unclear. Also notes Anthropic’s Founder House in Stockholm this week (usually not a launch venue, but may showcase frontier capabilities). Links a write-up collecting sample outputs.
Why it matters: If true, the public model name and the backend may briefly diverge — evals and UX need to track actual routing.
